GenRank is The Open Data Standard for AI Context Ranking—a community-driven platform that measures how AI models recommend brands, products, and entities. Our Service includes:

• Open, publicly accessible AI recommendation data
• Community-submitted questions for AI polling
• Transparent, documented scoring methodology
• Discussion and voting features for community engagement
• Entity visibility rankings across categories

3. Open Data Principles

GenRank is committed to open data. Our ranking data is freely accessible to all users. When using GenRank data, you agree to:

• Attribution: Credit GenRank as the source when publishing or redistributing our data (e.g., "Source: GenRank.com")
• No Misrepresentation: Do not alter data in ways that misrepresent the original findings or methodology
• Non-Commercial Restrictions: Commercial use of bulk data exports may require separate licensing—contact us for details

Individual lookups, research, and editorial use are permitted without restriction.

4. Community Participation

GenRank enables community participation through question submissions, comments, and voting. By participating, you agree to:

• Submit only genuine, relevant questions appropriate for AI polling
• Not submit spam, promotional content, or duplicate questions
• Engage respectfully in discussions without harassment or abuse
• Not manipulate voting systems or create fake accounts
• Accept that submitted questions become part of our open dataset

We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove questions and comments that violate these guidelines or do not meet our quality standards.

5. User Accounts

To participate in the community (submit questions, comment, vote), you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Not create multiple accounts for manipulation purposes

Browsing rankings and data does not require an account.

6. User-Generated Content

When you submit questions, comments, or other content to GenRank:

• You retain ownership of your original content
• You grant GenRank a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and include your submissions in our open dataset
• Your username and contributions will be publicly visible
• You represent that your content does not infringe on third-party rights

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate rankings through coordinated voting or fake data
• Use automated bots to scrape data at excessive rates
• Interfere with the operation or security of our Service
• Impersonate other users or entities
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Commercially resell our data without authorization

8. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

GenRank scores are derived from automated polling of AI systems and are provided for informational purposes. We make no guarantees regarding:

• The absolute accuracy or completeness of AI response data
• The consistency of AI model behavior over time
• The suitability of data for specific business decisions

AI responses may vary due to model updates, regional differences, and other factors outside our control.

9. Intellectual Property

Platform: The GenRank website, branding, design, and software are owned by GenRank and protected by intellectual property laws.

Data: Our ranking data is provided as open data under the terms described in Section 3. The underlying methodology is publicly documented.

10. Third-Party AI Services

GenRank aggregates data from third-party AI services including OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity, xAI, DeepSeek, Meta, and others. We are not affiliated with these providers. GenRank is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party AI services.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GenRank shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on our data. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

12. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced on our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to participate in community features ends, but previously submitted content may remain in our open dataset.
