Bhutan’s Tshechu festivals

Annual religious festivals in Bhutan, predominantly Drukpa Lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. Tshechus are held in many different monasteries and Dzongs according to the lunar calendar, with dancers and performers taking on the roles of gods and demons.
